Very steep climb up from car park to the room. OK if there was someone available to give a lift in the hotel 4wheel drive but exhausting when Hot and Humid on the steep drive or uneven steps.

The jungle surroundings were breathtaking, and the staff went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. The breakfast at the Rimba restaurant was delicious, and I also had the opportunity to dine at a nearby Japanese restaurant which was unexpectedly outstanding. The views from the Rainforest Suite were breathtaking, especially during sunset. The staff even surprised me with a birthday cake and personalized bed decoration. I felt truly special and well taken care of. I would definitely return to this exceptional resort. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and luxurious retreat.

ambong rainforest retreat villa was absolutely amazing. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were spacious and well thought out. the pool was secluded and calming, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. overall, it was an impeccable stay and i can't wait to come back.

The staff were super friendly and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast options were fantastic - we had a choice between a vegan restaurant and another one located by the pool villas, and both had amazing food. We also loved the fact that we could see so many animals from our apartment and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable New Year experience.

Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike about our stay. The only minor issue we had was that the bed was a bit noisy when we moved around.

It provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. - One of the best aspects of our stay was the delicious breakfast that was served at the hotel. the food was of high quality and there was a wide variety of options to choose from.

Although the hotel offered a stunning natural setting, it was a bit secluded and there were limited activities within walking distance. It would be more convenient to have a car or take a taxi to explore the nearby attractions.

We had an incredible experience at the retreat - the staff genuinely cared about us and made our 10th-anniversary celebration special. the shower gel and shampoo smelled amazing, perfect after a long day exploring. the surprise visits from monkeys on the balcony made us feel like we were in the jungle. the restaurant had breathtaking views. the employees went above and beyond, even finding a wheelchair for me when I had an accident. Putra and Lee were particularly thoughtful. Despite having to leave early due to pregnancy, the staff was understanding and refunded some of our money. Clean rooms, spacious and enjoyable.
